After Valentine's Day in 2010, New year's Eve in 2011, now in 2016 Garry Marshall comes back with a film that highlights special celebrations, mother's Day. In USA mother's day fall on every second Sunday in the month of may, so it seemed appropriate if the film direlease on April 29, 2016.
If seen ranks of actresses who portray the figure of the mother like Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and Kate Hudson film is indeed quite inconspicuously. Told three generations of a mother who has family problems each masinig, but trying to remain a role model for his children's mother.
As a film, the film feels more action with cute and hilarious dialogue if compared to the side of the play. Whereas if viewed from the problem that the character is facing, many of the actual moment of ' almost ' moving and then turn into a scene that turned out to be particular invite laughter.

Virgin soil of the 1980 film of the same name, mother's Day tells the story of a crime family who was raised by a mother named Natalie sadistis "Mother" Koffin (Rebecca De Mornay). After a failed bank robbery attempt, the third son of Natalie was forced to flee back to his old home with her younger brother, Johnny (Matt O'Leary), were injured. Only, they did not find her mother, but other families that became the new occupant of the House.
Driven by feelings of anger and panic after betrayed partners, Ike (Patrick John Flueger) and Addley Koffin (Warren Kole) attacked the home owners who want to question their presence in the House. The new occupant of the House, Daniel (Frank Grillo) and Beth Sohapi (Jaime King), along with her guest became the third hostage relatives awaiting the arrival of the Mother to the House. The presence of the Mother at the scene had calmed the State, but the conditions quickly changed after knowing the money was often sent by his three sons he did not receive. The couple Sohapi became the prime suspect who hid money and torture begins!
The gripping atmosphere already seemed from the beginning. In the opening scene is shown of a self-styled sister who wanted to sneak into the hospital to kidnap a baby. If similar movies usually puts its characters (which are usually made up of young kids) on a holiday, mother's Day puts his character in the middle of a birthday party. The difference that stands out is quite the character not being hunted by an assassin, beast, or terrible creature, but rather held hostage by a gang of sadistic criminal. It is these conditions that successfully resulted in extra feel of gripping. The anticipation of death and torture continue to whack the characters successfully raises tension in every corner of the film.
Rebecca De Mornay capabilities (Wedding Crashers) in the role of Mother is worth a thumbs up. The expression changes often happen, from a mother who becomes a cold-blooded killer attention, displayed very well. Mixed feelings stir any dipancing in the film, from the sympathetic feelings towards a mother worries her children turn into resentment against the teachings of the sadistis diumbarnya. The prima appearance Rebecca supported by other actors in drawing the viewer into terrible situations and the emotions they are feeling.

Obviously this movie is not for any audience (definitely not for kids!). For those of you who like a slasher type horror full of blood, most likely can enjoy the film. For those of you who feel the mother or mother-in-law You evil, it's good to also watch the mother's Day for the sake of self aware that there is more evil again. I personally loved this movie, not because his story, but will be the success of the Director in the film presenting the horror that gripped from the start point to the end of the movie started. How does? The film's Director, Darren Lynn Bousman, experienced working on three movies Saw, from the second to the fourth film.
