Review And Synopsis Movie The Magnificent Seven (2016)

The Magnificent Seven was a remake of the popular movies in the 1960s. The implementation of The Magnificent Seven is not an easy perkar. Even with the existence of a record year in review resolved from The Magnificent Seven 2016 will vary.

This is based of the data loaded on Thursday (22/09) The Magnificent Seven get rating as much as 59 percent and 58 to review from Rotten Tomatoes, 7.0/10 from IMDb and gain score as many as 55/100 from Metacritic.

The Magnificent Seven tells the story of seven Cowboys who have skills respectively. The seven men ever asked free the village from the evil industrialist. However, when the issue of kiam rumi what they turned out to be more than just getting the dollars.

The rich ruler named Barthomolov Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard) and komeplotannya ruled the city that turned out to have a gold mine. They do not hesitate to persecute citizens who obstruct his desire.

Even one of the townspeople Emma Cullen (Haley Bannet) felt it should hearten the citizens so as to being bullied. Demma met Sam Chilsolm (Denze Washington) asks for help and paid a number of breathtaking gold.

Aware of the opponent unable to plot its own Sam recruit Bogue six Cowboys to help him. The Cowboys came to town the seventh power of Bogue, Rose Creek. Among them there are the cowboy sixth Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Josh Faradah (Chris Pratt), Jack Horne (Vincent D'onofrio), Vasques (Manuel Gracia – Rufli) Red Harvest (Martin Sansmeier) and Billy Rock (Lee Byung Hun).

In the context of the classic film remakes, it's hard for me to resist the temptation to compare with the original version. Moreover, The Magnificent Seven had two references that have the status of a classic. This film is a remake of the film of the same name by John Sturges which itself is also a remake of Seven Samurai his Akira Kurosawa. If judged from the eventually products have a different vision of both those movies, I assume the Director Antoine Fuqua is not too damn with material resources.

That means this counterproductive from the initial intention of Fuqua. In an interview, Fuqua said that he would "faithfully on DNA from Seven Samurai". With all the melee sword and fight epic, Seven Samurai was about moral responsibility and have a social theme in, rather than on violence and action. Meanwhile, The Magnificent Seven versions of Sturges was criticized because it was too filled with action. Well, Fuqua brought his version to the next level. Even though it was built with the same Foundation, The Magnificent Seven was nothing more than light entertainment-oriented action that (fortunately). Preparing, viewfinder, and pew pew pew!

There was firing shots, pembacokan, stabbings, explosions and all sorts of other lives, cutting scenes involving guns, machetes, knives, arrow up to dynamite. All pretty intense and uniquely, the film is rated 13 + which means it can be watched by grade VII. Could it be that this is indeed the present adolescent consumption? Considering his action-packed, may I mention The Magnificent Seven as "Western Blockbusters"?

Texts written by Nic Pizzolatto (True Detective) and Richard Wenk did some adjustments. Prominently, of course the name of the character is more cool. In addition, the villains once no longer bandits Mexico but rather a white capitalist named Bartholomew Bogue (cool name right?) played by Peter Saarsgard. Our main character is not a Cajun (once played by Yul Brynner) but replaced with a black man in the figure of Denzel Washington.

The film also will no longer take place in the village of Mexico but rather a village called Rose Creek will be colonized by Bogue to mined and extracted the gold. Bogue is a despicable man and not just because of the mustache melengkungnya suspicious. He deliberately let the citizens gathered at the Church, menyerbunya with fruit that is armed, giving an offer that can't be denied, shooting at residents who fight, and then burn the Church.

A young widow who became victims, Emma (Haley Bennett) seek help from Sam Chisolm (Washington), bounty hunters with a versatile black make-up is so skilled with his gun can shoot up to 3 people at once within a few seconds without a fumble. Chisolm was initially hesitant, but he finally received, though with a mercenary is not how. "There is never a membayarku with everything they had," Chisolm said.

For this mission, he later gathers the crew consists of: (1) himself; (2) a drunkard is not only a smart shot and ngelawak but can also be magic, Josh Faraday (Chris Pratt); (3) the snipers who have a name very classy, Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke) along with (4) partner who is adept at throwing knives, Billy Rocks (Byung-hun Lee); (5) the fugitive Mexico, Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo); (6) man mount eccentric, Jack Horne (Vincent D'Onofrio); and last (7) indian youth with stylish face paint, Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier).

The plot is simple enough where the classical versions of seven of these men helped villagers fight against tyrants. This new version had a more simple plot again. Antagonisnya didegradasi motives become pure colonialism. There are no loopholes would defeat as Brynner dkk are stripped and beaten a retreat out of the village. For me, the classic film it's not extraordinary (not like Seven Samurai), but he makes us care about the characters and the fate of the villagers. There is a moment where the bully we interact and establish rapport with the villagers. The new version only does so at first glance, seems simply perform the checklist points in the plot.

There is no better time raised the issue of diversification than today. An interesting touch by placing characters Bennett under the spotlight next seven different ethnicities with whiz. Although he reportedly had a unique background and supported by the appearance of solid players, characterization of each character is not excavated further. As the old fellow Chisolm, Robicheaux seems to have a fairly complex inner conflict, but only discussed in the 2nd scene. Some characters got fewer servings than others.

Almost half of the final part of the film is a shot-firing relentlessly bombastic. And wow, I really admire the skills of Fuqua in directing an impressive action sequences and explosive (pun intended). Cool REC highlights

Almost half of the final part of the film is a shot-firing relentlessly bombastic. And wow, I really admire the skills of Fuqua in directing an impressive action sequences and explosive (pun intended). REC Spotlight cool highlights beautiful landscape. There is a scene in which the characters shoot Chisolm while spur his horse at high speed where he only relies on one foot. Our bully others are also very good. The enemy (of which there are hundreds I assume) tumbling like toys. At this point, I think a reasonable if we lose our sense of geography among desingan ringkihan horse and bullets, explosions of dynamite.

Like most blockbuster movie light, no things really memorable or evocative of The Magnificent Seven. One-liners are quite sporadic, sometimes thrown impressed crisp. However the film was quite preoccupied audience thanks to the charisma of the players as well as the competence of the direction of action sequences from Fuqua. Could it be that this film will become a classic? If this is hell, I doubt it.
