For those who likes the film's predecessor, certainly will enjoy The Huntsman: winter's War. Film still offers roughly the same thing: action-fantasy with the visual appearance of a charming and imaginative. The ludicrous plot interesting but watchable.

Any way, do not get stuck with the title (with the word "war") and promonya material (this time there are 2 Queen of evil) that indicates the scope of the wider narrative. The concept may be larger, but almost all the element more inferior than its predecessor film.

This is not a true sequel to the sequel. Due to its structure which is taking time before and after the events in Snow White and the Huntsman, the term more precisely is the prequel-sequel. Or a spinoff. Or up to you want to call it (this is just terminology does not need to be debated). The main players of the previous film, Kristen Stewart along with the film's Director, Rupert Sanders no longer included due to the involvement of both in the affair scandal. She is a sequel to Snow White ... without Snow White.

Once, before being killed by the evil Queen Snow White, Ravenna (Charlize Theron) has a sister named Freya (Emily Blunt). After experiencing a tragic events that cause her son died, Freya left the Kingdom and the road to the North. There, he built the castle of ice, but instead of singing "Let It Go", Freya recruiting children to serve as soldiers he called Hunter (aka Huntsmen).

Many years passed, among the Hunters there is Eric (Chris Hemsworth) and Sarah (Jessica Chastain) who later fell in love with each other, one thing is very ditabukan by Freya. If the movie has previously ruled out the scenes of blissful, this film does not hesitate showing Hemsworth and Chastain who were making out so intense to be censored. Now from here the story skips to the timeline after Snow White and the Huntsman. Prince William (Sam Claflin) assign Eric to find a magic mirror that is missing upon the death of Ravenna. He had to deal with a variety of enemies as fellow Hunters to goblins which allow the film showing a choreographed action sequences pretty well, but executed a potluck.

The main plot also involving 2 dwarf, Nion (Nick Frost) and the Gryff (Rob Brydon), because the budget for the 7 dwarf seems too expensive. The dynamics of both plus 2 dwarf Lady, Mrs. Bromwyn (Sheridan Smith) and Doreena (Alexandra Roach) as comic relief more or less cover the inconsistencies and lack of tone in the plot developments of Craig Mazin and Evan Spiliotopoulos.

A major problem may exist on the chemistry between Eric with Sara. Hemsworth and Chastain plays the role of each, but both look never coalesce. Moment when the two are mutual sindir or when Eric wooing Sara delivered effectively, but when entering the dramatic moment, it wasn't a minimal emotional weight. Blunt became the only character who got the room for complexity and inevitably you should be familiar with the appearance of Theron that bring any dialogue with sighs of Ravenna or the tempo superpelan so impressed vile.

Cedric Nicolas Troyan who took over the position of Director after previously only involved as supervisors effects in Snow White and the Huntsman offer CGI wrapped in a visual fit, though there are no visualizations imaginative se-memorable Dark Forest. One scene back wearing the same details as the earlier films, including the presence of a fleeting fantasy creatures in the background, though he had no narrative purpose at all (you even can watch Emily Blunt ride the polar bear). Costume design again superior compared to the narrative. Colleen Atwood design make every outfit (especially dress Freya and Ravenna) up to the smallest details.

Synopsis:
